Next Session – Thu 17.02.2011 – Igor Drobiazko,Tapestry 5 Night

Apache Tapestry is an open-source, component-based web application framework for Java. It features concise templates, minimal amounts of Java code, high performance, and important productivity features such as live class reloading.

In this talk, we’ll introduce Tapestry 5 and explain its innovative approach to building fast, complex, reliable applications from simple and reusable components. we’ll overview the fundamental concepts of Tapestry 5 and show how to create web applications without any knowledge of the Servlet API and Ajax. Along the way, we’ll show demos and share our real-world experience in Tapestry.

This time, we are again invited by the ULB to hold our upcoming meet-up on their campus as of 1900. As usual in the FORUM F of the PLAINE campus. The campus is easy to access by public transport and parking places (outside and inside the campus) are available as well. A yes, the entry is free and the conference is hold in English! After the session, you are invited to join us for the 3rd half-time in a nice bar.
